Important Note
If you do not have a valid Support Service agreement or if your previous Support Service agreement has expired, you are not entitled to free-of-charge update and are required to purchase a License Upgrade separately. Also, you are not entitled to buy a new subscription to Support Service agreement without a prior Support Service agreement in place nor renew subscription of a Support Service agreement that has already expired. In such case, you are instead required to purchase a License Upgrade.
Furthermore, License Upgrade can be purchased solely if you have purchased the original license or a prior Major/Minor Release less than two years ago. However, if the purchase of the original license or a prior Major/Minor Release has been made more than two years ago, you are required to purchase a new full license. Please send us a sales inquiry or contact SSH Sales representative for further instructions.
If you have a valid Support Agreement and would like to upgrade your SSH Tectia versions, please visit the SSH Customer Download Center using your user name and password which have been provided to you earlier.
Major Releases
Major Releases are first digit version (e.g. 5 or 4) of SSH Tectia products. Major Release includes major new functionality. If you have a valid Support Service agreement, you are entitled to upgrade free-of-charge your existing SSH Tectia product installations with the latest Major Release version from the SSH Customer Download Center.
Minor Releases
Minor Releases are second digit version (e.g. 5.1 or 4.4) of SSH Tectia products. Minor Release includes minor new functionality. If you have a valid Support Service agreement, you are entitled to update free-of-charge your existing SSH Tectia product installations with the latest Minor Release version from the SSH Customer Download Center.
Maintenance Releases
Maintenance Releases are third digit versions (e.g. 6.0.1 or 5.3.4) of SSH Tectia products. Maintenance Releases do not provide any new functionality, only fixes to the previous release versions. If you have a valid Support Service agreement, you are entitled to update free-of-charge your existing SSH Tectia product installations with the latest Maintenance Release version from the SSH Customer Download Center. Maintenance releases are available for the current and one preceding Major/Minor Releases.
