SSH offers two choices based upon the institution’s needs – The SSH University Standard Licensing Program that provides a per license discount or the SSH University Site Licensing Program.

  • The SSH Standard University Licensing Program is an ideal solution for those institutions that require small-scale individual licenses for secure system administration and file transfer, replacing unsecured Telnet and FTP sessions.
  • The SSH University Site License Program is an attractive and cost-effective offering that enables universities of any size to implement large-scale Secure Shell deployments at a fraction of the cost of enterprise commercial licenses for secure system administration, SFTP and secure application connectivity. The SSH University Site License Program includes one year support at no additional charge.

Qualified Users

Educational institutions: Accredited schools organized and operated exclusively for educational purposes (public or private).

1. Administrative Offices or Boards of Education of Educational Institutions
2. Full and part-time faculty and staff of Educational Institutions
3. Full and part-time matriculated students of Higher Education Institutions of the license holder
4. Hospitals wholly owned and operated by an Educational Institution

Proof of education affiliation is required at the time of purchase.

The discounted prices are available from SSH Channel Partners or directly from SSH Communications Security Sales.

This program includes Standard Support Service for the initial 12 months period at no additional charge.
